A Resource Tool Developed by the Members of the Ohio Standards Advocate Team. If you are looking for a good place to get started delving into Ohio’s Learning Standards, what the standards mean for instruction, or preparing for Ohio’s State Tests, look through this document. District Adopted Programs
Students in K-4 focus on hands on science experiments and lessons to build a strong foundation for the science curriculum. Teachers use a variety of resources that fits the needs of their students. Students are also introduced to Project Lead the Way through the Launch program.
Students in grades 5-12 learn science through hands on experiments and the use of FOSS Kits, provided by the Stark County SAMM center. Students in grades 5-8 also participate in PLTW.
